Subject	bubbling noise in engine compartment

Message	all of a sudden I noticed my temperature gauge running a little hot. about 3/4 up usual around 1/2. When I opened the hood I heard a bubbling sound from the front area on the right(drivers side).checked the oil and it's fine. car is too hot to check antifreeze. I'll do it a bit later. anyone have any ideas as to what this might be? is my antifreeze low? I see no drips or wet spots. thanks
